Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul has remains unawakened

We said good bye to Leo and Fercho and then had some cuddle time with their furry baby Sam. We could tell he knew they were leaving and as soon as they were out the door he started missing them. It's amazing how us humans can get to love a pet and how they love us back. They are part of family and we'll love on Sam as much as we can while his parents are away. Pontevedra and the Nocatee neighborhood are gorgeous. The location, the trails, the greenery, the forest and lakes surrounding the community and of course the beautiful houses. We are loving this place and the kids are excited to experience life here this week. We drive the golf cart to the supermarket, restaurants, tennis courts and lots of different places. We are learning about the Age of the explorers, America before Columbus and Colonial times. It was fun to see some wild pig running around in the forest just like we've learned in history. ON Saturday we'll visit St Augustine, the oldest city in the US and we"ll get to live some of the history that we've learned in the last weeks.
